Yaku Jima (Miscanthus s.)
Compact, fine textured foliage, similar to Maiden Grass, Yaku Jima foliage turns a pleasing reddish brown color in the fall. The reddish flowers reach a height of 1 - 2 feet above the foliage. Flowers emerge in August and are showy but not quite as fluffy as most. Yaku Jima turns reddish-brown in fall.
